Jayapura Sauna and Stone Cook is a New Tourism Magnet

 We have already know that tourism need support from infrastructure, residential, food/ logistic and services. Jayapura has beautifull beach and view of high land. So sauna and restaurant will be another tourism choice to attract tourist come to Jayapura. 

 Why it  will be support main tourism object in Jayapura??

Because people will be interest to enjoy not only nature resource but they also need modern recreational place that support nature tourism such sauna and restaurant.

Jayapura Sauna

Jayapura sauna is a sauna that designed as a place to experience dry or wet heat sessions, or an establishment with one or more of these facilities. The steam and high heat make the bathers perspire. Jayapura Saunas concept is different from conventional saunas. This Sauna warm the air and heating area use charcoal that blended with herbs that mix with water.

This herbs and plantation that used to warm the sauna is a unique part that can make people attract. What kind of herb and plantation?? we specialized this herbs to Buah Merah or Pandanus Conoideus.

This will be an additional value to people come and enjoy sauna with this Buah merah medicine.

 

For the place and sauna building, I suggest with known Indian sauna design.

1. Build a leather tent. The leather tent is a room that surrounded by the wall from soil. They use herb  and water pour on the hot stone that located at the center of tent. We can use similar prosedure with design tent from papua culture and herbs from buah merah 

2. Build a cave that come from tree branch and grass/ leaves as roof top as sauna heater. 

this sauna type give natural heat that come from nature resources.

Jayapura Stone Cook

This tradition of stone cook comes from Papua tribe tradition. They use hot stone to cook meat, vegetabels and fruit. They combine with herbs to give additional flavour. They do this as thanks giving tradition before. But now it is become daily activity to cook in big a mount in a tribe use a hot stone.

We can develop this unique tradition to cook become a brand that could be a brand for Jayapura culinary. So whats a preparation to build big brand for Jayapura culinary? we must prepare such sample or prototype of stone cooking restaurant in a big cities in Indonesia.
