Lately we have a new trend in business, it works in culinary part and we call it cafe business. Good food, cozy place and nice environment is kind of parameter that needed in this kind of business .This trend is drive by society where people choose not only good food or cheap price but also instagramable place. This trend spread up not only in big cities but also in small city. It has drive money flow in big part. Property, event organizer, agriculture, food stock, media and fashion are involved in this industry.

As a trend, the food business is such has bubble effect where it has pattern. At the first pattern we know that food industry will consume much of trend influence. At the second pattern we know that food industry is evolved along with the trend that rise up. But in one point it has maximum point where the trend ends. So it will affect the industry stuck and go down.

Questionable thing

Why it always happened a bubble effect in trending industry such cafe industry?

That's caused unefficiency budget flow. Most owners easily get carried away and spend large amounts of money on something that un primary. They focuse on budgeting decoration, equipment and other acessoris that they can easily do without. We concern about this caused a lot of unnecessary thing waste on this business.

So whats the strategy to win through competition in cafe industry? 

Save the cost

The way you save the costs of industry is similar with another. You need to divide the cost in 3 priority 1st priority is for most important thigs that can not be replaced by others. Such ingridients, fresh food, good cheff and nice place. 2nd parametere are the replaceable parametere. Here we can find substitute from another part such you change menu card in to cheap one or you change fresh flower with artificial one. 3rd part is a part where it just an acessoris that doesnt quite needed. Such anchandelier, stage for performance and band equipment.

Rent some facility
It's ok to have all anything complete in one moment. But it will save your cost if you can loan some accessoris in your cafe. And in the next phase where your cafe business have earn big profit you can get your own equipmment

Find The Source
You have your vendors supplying you whatever you need – meat, fish, vegetables and other produce. But if you can find a farmers market or a good market for produce, you should cut back on your supplies from vendors and make a couple of trips to these markets. In addition to reducing costs, you’re also getting produce fresh.

Network Planning Development 2G, 3G & LTE

Disini saya berperan dalam hal memplan atau merencanakan bagaimana sebuah teknologi selular bekerja mulai dari network 2G, 3G dan LTE. Tiap network harus sejalan dengan visi misi perusahaan, regulasi pemerintah, border area serta target revenue yang hendak dicapai. Proses planning dimulai dengan mendapatkan inputan dari marketing serta team RND mengenai network yang sudah ada dan market telco yang tersebar di beberapa area (urban, sub urban dan rural).

Mengingat setiap periode memiliki pencapain tertentu, maka team Network Planning wajib memplan area2 profit untuk terus meningkat dan mengurangi komposisi area2 non profit. Dari sisi business nya dilakukan planning untuk best perform cash flow suatu company. Mulai dari penggunaan reuse dismantel material, melakukan leasing site dan pemiihan vendor dan subcon yang tepat menjadi key untuk effisiensi business process. Selain itu pola monitoring site mulai awal build hingga akhir prosess harus termonitor secara detail.

Result nya terlampir dalam bentuk pemetaan process dan monitoring network and business yang di lakukan report tiap periode.

Network Planning Optical

Di posisi network planning optical kali ini saya hanya mendapatkan sedikit job desk untuk melakukan monitoring hasil kerja dari team PMO. Disini kami memonitor hasil instalasi dalam bentuk report audit mengenai tiang optic, kabel optic (tanam dan tiang). Fokus saya di Network Planning Optical lebih berfokus pada audit optic realitation. Banyak hal yang menjadi inputan dari proses network planning ini bukan hanya audit process. Seperti mapping optic area, plan material dan business plan.

Business Improvement (Planning and Analyze) 

Baru-baru ini saya mendapatkan amanah untuk bergabung dengan tim business improvement. Dimana dalam proses ini terdapat proses improvement business, planning and Analyze. Disini main job team business improvement meliputi audit, data management, policy and business process. Proses planning di Wimax dan wifi tidak berbeda jauh dengan proses planning di seluler. Banyak hal yang menjadi inputan mulai dari proses mapping, plan user and location. Untuk end result dan kualitas dilakukan dengan drive test, plan.

Technical people is always needed in every part. They also needed in such liberal art or in real art. "Chil boleh minta bantuan beliin makan.," sepenggal pesan whatsapp dari seorang teman kepada saya. Dia hanyalah seorang teman kantor, yang dulu pernah sekampus. Meskipun sudah berbeda kantor kami masih tetap hangout bersama, main bareng dan terkadang kumpul2 bareng. 

Akhirnya datanglah saya ke kosannya."Asalamualaikum, hey ini titipannya" saya membawakan semangkuk coto makasar. "Masuk Cil.." sapanya dengan wajh pucat. "Eh gimana hasil check labnya?" setengah saya berbasa-bassi sambil update berita ke teman2 kalu saya sedang menjenguk teman ini. Secara dia anak perempuan calon suaminya sedang diluar pulau, jadilah kami sesama anak perantauan di jkt slaing bahu membahu kalau ada yang sakit.

"Ini chil hasilnya.." saya buka satu persatu hasil cek labnya. Saya tidak mengerti. Kata dokter gimana?" Saya masih sibuk buka2 kertas. "Gw kata dokternya kena anemia chil tapi ada kemungkinan lupus". Dekkkk saya langsung diem dan shock mendengarnya.

Jujur saya suka benci kalau melihat orang yang lebih tampan, lebih kaya, S2, sekolah di luar, tinggi, putih, sudah berkeluarga ddan sebagainya. Benci.., kenapa sih saya harus ada rasa benci pada orang2 seperti itu??

Yang saya sendiri bahkan tidak mengenalnya. Yang hanya saya temui di CFD pagimenuju bundaran HI, di mall, di food court atau bahkan di media sosial. Jujur keapa gw benci, karena gw merasa kalah, karena gw merasa teringkir, karena gw merasa ga dapat pengakuan. 

Sebegitu pentingnya kah rasa diakui rasa untuk dicintai, rasa untuk menang, rasa untuk mendapatkan pengakuan? Toh at the end bukan itu semua yang kita cari. 

Kekinian

Gw jujur sering banget terobsesi dengan apa yang disebut kekinian. Gw terobsesi dengan cafe2 bagus, highlight keren, coffe bar and barista yang keren. Akut pake bgt dimana gw merasa semua baju dan kiblat gw kesana. Why? satu lagi kata why?

Mungkinkah demi satu kata pengakuan bahwa kita generasi paling heitz dan kekinian. Toh itu semua akan tersapu pada masannya.

Yup kita pasti punya harapan dan marah mencoba membuktikan kalau bisa menjadi sesuatu. Marah benci kecewa terjadi saat harapan dan mimpi gw g menjadi nyata

Sebetulnya hidup itu hanyalah ajang saling membandingkan. Dan ga akan berhenti hingga manusia masuk liang lahat.

Kelebihan yang kita miliki hanya lah titpan. Rasa kurang yang kita punya itu juga titipan. Kenapa kita selalu merasa kecewa dengan apa yang tidak lebih dan tidak kurang?

Trip to Derajad Pass Garut

Garut

What comes in your mind if i told you a city called "GARUT"..?

Garut is a city in West Java that located near Bandung. The distance between Bandung-Garut is not too far, it only taken about 1 hour more. Caused we start our trip from jakarta at 7 O'Clock we arrived in Garut city at 12 O'clock.

The road to the Garut were beautiful scenery, interesting composition between the mountains and hills and combined with rice terraces. 

Darajat Crater (Kawah Darajat)

Kawah Darajat or Darajat Carter is a resort that located in high area. Located in high area and near mountain, no wonder if in this area appears hot spring and the presence of white steam from the earth that rose high into the sky. Today, this area have been completed with waterboom, flower gardens and villas or home stay. Tourism and geo thermal mining is driving economy in this area. 

To reach the location of the crater Darajat, we will meet the asphalt road which was quite nice. We can enjoy beautifull pine forest and farm land that located at road side. The distance from the peak Darajat to Darajat crater less than 5 Km. 

We arrived at 3 o'clock and picked up our belonging to one beautifull villa that had booked. 

Here we can enjoy fresh air and hot spring that near with our villas. It only costs 1.3 millions/ day. This villa quite clean and simple. there is a kitchen and living room plus toilet in the 1st floor. at the 2nd floor it completed with 2 bedroom and family rom with cabin wood. This building is typically sundanese building that combine bamboo arsitecture with modern material.

What's activity ccould we do here?

after took a bath and clean up we make some barbeque and take a night tour to this resort. Night sky and beutifull view of Garut city from mountain is the best cure from daily stress in office.

What else? we can eat some meals such Ubi Cilembu (Sweet potato steam) and corn snack.

in the morning we can go to hot spring and take a tour to the crater or buy some vegetables or fruit such strawberry and cabbage.

Candi Cangkuang (Cangkuang statue)

Cangkuang statue is historical place that located at the center of cangkuang lake. This lake is surrounded by Haruman Mount.

It appears Cangkuang temple stands firmly in the middle of the island. Its size is not too large and there is a statue of Lord Shiva inside it. Apparently this temple came from Hindu royal relics of the eighth century.

The tour guide told us there were now seen the shape of the temple was merely an invention alone. Next to the temple there is the tomb figure called Grandmother Grandparent Dalem Arif Muhammad. 

He was a man who spread the religion of Islam in this region. 

Although all people in this area is moslem but they area still holds many Hindu beliefs, including abstinence work in Wednesday, maintaining the ban on quadrupeds and hit a gong. 

Whatever the reason, this might be a form of Hindu-Islamic acculturation. At this location found many plants Cangkuang (group palmlike) of species Pandanus puratus. That is why this temple is called the Temple Cangkuang.

Here located museum near the cangkuang temple. This museum is not far from Temple Cangkuang. It looks like this museum does not get the attention of local authorities . Still on the same island, there is a unique village called Kampung Pulo. I call it unique because the house is there the amount should not be increased aka remain , namely six houses and one mosque . The sixth house is located opposite the 3-3. Apparently the composition of this house describes the number of children Grandmother Grandparent Dalem Arif Muhammad is 6 girls and 1 boy . According to the story , the boy died so that there now are descendants of girls. Who may occupy the house it was just girls, while boys must occupy in the outer islands. Unique hell but strange as well.

After visiting some tourism object we go culinary to sundanese restaurant. We bring so uch gifts from garut and finally after two day tour in garut we go back to jakarta

Praktikum di Universitas Telkom

Sebagai alumni Institut Teknologi Telkom yang kini beralih nama menjadi Telkom University saya menemukan foto lama tentang praktikum di kampus tercinta.

Di kampus ini saya mengambil jurusan di Fakultas Elektro dan Komunikasi lebih tepatnya Elektro arus lemah dengan spesifikasi jurusan Teknik Telekomunikasi. Gak seperti Teknik Elektro pada umumnya, disini kami thanya mendapatkan sekilas materi Elektro arus kuat seperti Catu Daya, Rangkaian Listrik dan Elektronika. 

So apa saja sih praktikum yang kita dapatkan..?

Sebagai gambaran di Tahun I kita akan mendapatkan praktikum mata kuliah dasar seperti Fisika Dasar, Agama (Mentoring), Bahasa Inggris dan Pemrograman Dasar. Praktikumnya sih seru-seruan sebetulnya, cuman karena kita masih angkatan pertama masih pada sok-sokan ngerjain modul sendiri ga nyontek dan sok independent gitu. Masih sok-sokan idealis pingin kelihatan  paling perform sewaktu praktikum.

Tipikalnya praktikum di angkatan pertama ini lebih ribet karena mahasiswanya baru dan asistennya yang sok-sokan galak. Entah kenapa praktikum tahun ini tuh kesannya susah banget dan ribet. Praktikum di kampus tercinta ini dibagi menjadi 3 bagian, Mesti buat Tugas Pendahuluan atau TePe, tugas Praktikum dan Feed back yang diisi setelah praktikum terlaksana.

Tahun keII praktikum semakin menggila. Ada 8 mata kuliah yang dipraktikumkan, dan nilainya cuman 2 SKS WTF....!!! Udah gitu kalau ga ikut satu praktikum mesti ikut praktikum susulan atau nilai ground and ngulang tahun depan. Hell Yah ruarrrr biasa ribet and remfong nya praktikum di kampus ini. So tahun kedua mata kuliahnya ga jauh2 dari pengenalan dasar teori telekomunikasi seperti praktikum Rangkaian Listrik, Teknik Digital, Elektronika dan Microprocessor. 

Praktikumnya?? uhlalala ribet tak terkira. Seminggu kita ada jadwal praktikum dua kali selama satu semester. Terkadang ada responsi untuk ngerjain bahan praktikum. Just one word to say, Hidup langsung up and down, kaki di kepala dan kepala di kaki. Jidat sih masih nempel, normal lah hahahahh. Kuliah dan ngampus itu udah ibaratnya sambilan point utama itu praktikum. Jadwal main ikut UKM itu tak lebih dari jadwal sisa-sisa dari 24 jam yang ada. Ngerjainnya begimana? ya dengan seribu ninjutsu dan sharinggen nya naruto pun ga akan kelar praktikum di tahun ke dua ini.

Nyontek ?? Iyalah ga seidealis duluu. Kita mah apa atuh emang jin yang bangun candi...

Tapi tetep masih mikir n optimum dalam hal ngerjain tugas ples praktikum yang ada.

Tahun ke III. Praktikum dan kuliah uda menjadi priority, ciyusss??? iyah kita lebih demen jalan-jalan, bikin event, ngadain lomba & kepanitiaan. Kuliah dan praktikum?? itu sudah sampingan banget jadi kita lebih banyak copas n ngopy paste alll gawean temen hahahah. Praktikumnya apa aja?? Praktikum nya macem macem. Ada praktikum PSD yang lab ples asistan nya super duper horor ada praktikum Catu Daya, praktikum Siskom dll.

Ya beginilah kegiatan kita kalau lagi senggang. Ketawa-ketiwi nongkrong di kantin dan ngadem di perpus terus nyemil di ruang kuliah.

Ga kerasa udah 4 tahun lalu kita lulus dari kampus univ telkom. Dari almamater yang warnanya biru muda jadi almamater merah maroon. Dengan seragam khasnya biru tua dan putih.
Kangen banget pingin keteu dengan teman2 yang dulu., duduk bareng ngobrol bareng dan  ketawa bareng. Sekarang sudah punya rumah tangga dan kerjaan masing2. Ya mungkin waktunya saja yang tidak tepat toh yang bisa kita lakukan mendoakan penuh kebaikan untuk teman2 yang jauh disana.

Pyramide, The Story of Go Public Company

Ever heard of food pyramide, business pyramide or population pyramide ? This is the story about pyramide structure and how the company works. We can compare how a company formed at the begin. How it starts with hard work, solid team and passion growth become big company. If we compare all of this type of company, they have a pattern and the same working cycle since century ago . They ever on the position of start up, scale up and go public company.

The structure of a company is like a pyramide, where the team is essentially composed of triangles. The strong pillars are the main frame that needed by company pyramide. The base position of pyramide estabilished by the formation of a strong and solid team. While the top position is choosen figure to create brand and direct the company.

The leader is a head position, which all the orders and policies instructed. The lead usally is not a decision maker but just representatives for the power that works.

The main structure is a structure forming the frame of building. it has main position to support the building strong and standing. All the fillers of a building can be destroyed but the main structure that will standing as strong pillar for a building

The outer ring is outer part of building wherethe function provides outdoor display, protecter and shield against outside attacks

The supporter  is the small part or big part such cement, nail, sands and all devices that used to build the building

The base is the lowest, but it's the most important part. The srong base is the strong foundation of building

The bricks are same form of devices or material that used to fill the building.

A company is like a country on a small scale. There are builders, boosters and the leader. Whatever the form of a company, it's not separated from the original vision what's built for. There are companies that built for benefit oriented, another for chairity and the other to benefit and welfare of employees.

We know that big companies with cotton, tea, tobacco, pepper, nutmeg and oil comodity have evolved their business since years ago. History is the witness that they had reached sucsess on that time. However they have reform their business strategy and their company form to survive in the future.

The sucsess standard of company is not only depends on trend but also strategy and managerial. Remember VOC as colonial company which reached its heyday up to invade the Dutch East Indies is one of the one of most sucsessfull company in Europe in 18 th century. Today it had been vanished and evolve in to another international company

This overview is an analogy of building a company team.

Every single brick that build pyramide has their own function. We can change the top position to the base or some where else but it'll not work like before.

-How this company survive and grow through the years ?

-Is the company pyramide the best shape for corporation structure today?

-Whats make difference between one and another company to struggle for their live years.

All of the companies is evolved from their comodity, style and their life cycle. From start up to big company or from big company into start. This life cycle of company and their role is to maintain sustainable and continuity of a company

Case

a small company (small pyramide) wanna expand their ability (increase the height) to be big company what must to do?

In case 1 some of them will sell their bricks and buy some woods to extend new pyramide where the base built from wood and upper part is the brick

In case 2 they will sell their pyramide and built new one that built from woods

In case 3 they will rent the bricks and payback for the leasing pyramid

Conclusion

The conclusion are :

-The pyramide of company doesnt need tobe triangle anymore to make it sustain, big and stronge

-The life cycle is a process that make a small brick into big pyrmide or big pyramide become a dust

Today the best type of compay is dynamic company. It looks like a sand watch which contain sands but they are move able. They like a sand in the pyramid glass. Why?
With this type of shape each person in the company is movable. The structure inside is very dynamic but the outer and the frame company (main team) is a solid part.
